"that stinkin' toothfairy"

there is a problem in our home. the tooth fairy is consistently late and forgetful. almost always it is days and sometimes weeks before she actually remembers to visit the kids when they have lost a tooth. usually the kids have given up looking under their pillow each morning by the time she actually makes it here. well today i think cameron may have discovered the reason for her behavior. this morning, when i was informed that she had, once again, forgotten to visit cameron, i said "that stinkin' tooth fairy!". cameron then said, "mom, don't call her that. i'm sure that is why she isn't coming. she doesn't want to be in a house where my mom is calling her names." so, dear tooth fairy, i am deeply sorry and hope that you will make a visit to our home soon...

That is so funny! Cameron cracks me up. I miss your kids. I was just telling Aaron today how I missed Barrett and Cameron.

Isn't it amazing how often our children call us on our behavior? It's good to know that they've picked up on some of the teaching that you've been working so hard on.
I've been waiting and waiting for a new post from you so I could let you know that I remember you well, Stacia...
I especially remember "window talk". Chandi has lots of fun memories made with you and shared with me. I also spent a sunny afternoon at the Brigham City pool with you and your boys...pre-daughter days.
I do want to thank you for commenting on a blip on my blog.
Your kind words were so sweet and thoughtful. It was something that I kept close to cheer me up when things got a little heavy on my shoulders.
I don't need to tell you that you and Clint have managed to put together an adorable family. Good looking, tender, funny. What more could you ask for, eh? It's fun, isn't it!?
Again... thank you for responding on my blog. (Am I the only one that thinks that name hovers somewhere between strange and ugly? Whatever does it stand for?)

Ha! Great story. I am sure Amber will comment about her forgetful tooth fairy too!

That's so hilarious! So you are responsible for the tooth fairy not coming in more ways than one!

Oh my gosh, I am so glad to hear that we are not the only ones with this problem also... LOL! Very cute story, I might have to use the same line next time we forget too.

HA! Yes, be nice to that tooth fairy for sure. She has yet to have a reason to come to my house at all yet.

stacia... i'm so glad to know that this doesn't just happen at our house! just the other day, i told austen that the tooth fairy must be getting old... because she consistently makes mistakes.. the other night, she left austen an extra tooth, and NO money... do not ask me how that happened!!

My Kids have the German tooth fairy and the American one and they are both late all the time. Sometimes they come during the day while the kids are at school. Is that wrong? :)

Kids always tell the truth, don't they? And they never hold back. I love their truthfulness.
If it makes you feel any better, the Argentine tooth fairy once gave Summer $20 under her pillow and I have never been able to match that. . .Luckily she knows the truth now.

Cameron, you are hilarous. I'm afraid to say that it has nothing to do with calling her names. She forgets pretty much everytime at our house too, and I have never called her names! But, look what faith Cameron has, never questioning her existance! Who started the tooth fairy business anyway? Someone with nothing else to do after their kids go to bed? I mean really!

That is just hilarious!! Our tooth fairy has the same problem! Every night the tooth fairy forgets at our house, she brings extra cash the next night, so the kids have actually looked forward to the tooth fairy not coming for a couple of nights!! It is so fun to see your family:)
