How grateful I am for the purpose of this man's life here on earth.
He was such an example of love, hard work, service, christianity, acceptance, determination, happiness, optimism.... the list can go on and on! He will be so missed, but how happy I am that he is now with his sweet wife whom I know he has dearly missed these past few years. My life is so much better because this great man lived.
I chose to post the above picture because a couple of weeks ago Ethan was waving a stick in the air and said "Look mom, I'm President Hinckley Gordon." Too cute... he always waved his cane and even my little 3-year old remembers Him that way...

While I was reading your post, Kennedy came up and said, "Hey is that President Hinckley?" and I said, "Yes." And she got all excited and said, "Oh, are we on his blog?"
She was pretty sad this morning when we told her that he had gone back to Heaven. She said, "But he was my favorite prophet" But when we explained to her that he was now with Heavenly Father, Jesus and his wife again she was happy for him.
Very cute- about Ethan. Landon has been praying for Pres. Hinckley every night. "Bless Hinckley." He saw our bishop at church a few weeks ago and said, "Dada- its Hinckley." It is wonderful that our children know about our prophet as such young ages.
what a sweet quote! i still think it's hilarious that barrett and cameron told me pres. hinckley was in their primary (dr. jones) he he!
I love that you posted this. He truly was an amazing man. Jaxon prays everynight that President Hinckley will get safely to heaven. It is so sweet. I love little kids prayers.
