Cameron had a great day today...well mostly! He was star of the week, so I got to go to his class and tell them all about him! It is his half-birthday today, he had a new cousin born today (can't wait to meet Jaxon Cade Frisby!!), AND he lost his first tooth at school. What a coincindence that they are learning all about teeth this week too! Well after school, he just couldn't wait to show everyone his lost tooth. He begged me to let him go show some neighbors or take him to Grandma's to show her. Well, we didn't do either of those, and soon after these pictures were taken, the tooth was really LOST. We can't find it anywhere! He was so sad and I felt so bad. He wrote this letter to the Tooth Fairy to put under his pillow tonight...I sure hope she understands! Maybe that tooth will eventually show up...

That is so cute. Jefferson is DYING to lose his first tooth. He thinks the tooth fairy leaves presents.
So what does the tooth fairy give for lost teeth these days? When I was a kid, I think the most I ever got for a tooth was 25 cents. With inflation, I am wondering if she is paying more these days. Maybe Cameron can let us know.
I find the Tooth Fairy to be very understanding about these things, although a little flaky. It seems that she always has some excuse or another for not coming in a timely manner (i.e. maybe she doesn't work on Sunday, it was raining last night, the list goes on) Also, feel free to take Allyson to Warmart with you anytime. She is pretty much always available and loves the store as you know!
I love your posts. Your photography is great! He should keep that tooth fairy letter forever. I just found one of my letters to santa (I guess I didn't send it in time or something and it didn't make it) and it was so funny to read. I remember how glad I was when I finally lost all my teeth. I hated pulling them out. It grossed me out.
