i never thought it would take another broken arm
to get me to blog again... but here i am!
so, the other night we were over at a friends house and ethan was in the basement playing with all the other kids... there were lots of them. apparently they were climbing on the roof of a playhouse and jumping off. well, ethan didn't quite make it to the jumping part, and before he knew it, he slipped and fell to the floor... we knew right away something wasn't right, since ethan is known to be a tough little guy, and he was in lots of pain. sure enough, he buckled both bones in his wrist. he was so brave and i was proud of him for not throwing a fit when the doctor didn't have a red cast! he was really excited for a red cast, to match his red shoes, but settled pleasantly for a green one...
now the fun begins of trying to keep that cast clean and dry!
oh and i am not going to lie anymore and say that i am going to do some catch-up on this blog.
maybe i will, maybe i won't.
i need some direction with this blog, and have been trying to figure out just what that is...
but in the meantime... life is busy & good! :)

Poor Ethan. My niece Kaitlyn broke her wrist also, and the other one is in a brace so she has to walk around like a zombie. SHe still has to go to all-american 4 days a week. Good luck keeping Ethan's clean!

Glad to see you back!! Good luck with the arm, don't you just wish you could sometimes just bubble wrap them until they grow up?
Poor Ethan!! Personally, I would have thrown a fit about not having a red cast to match the shoes... those shoes are AWESOME!! Glad you posted! Nice to know you are alive.

oh ethan. thank goodness he's so dang cute. can we have him? andy doesn't have anyone to watch incredibles with. after ten times, i'm done. :) p.s. we really do want to babysit, just let us know ahead of time!
Oh NO!! I definatetly dont' envy you keeping that clean and try. That will be near impossible. Hey, you guys want to meet up and going swimming with us next week? Ha ha...jk, but we do need to get together sometime. I know its next to impossible sometimes with how busy life gets, but I think about you guys alot. One of these days...right? :)

Oh poor Ethan! I have never had a broken bone (knock on wood). I guess that means I don't live that dangerously. Other than the broken wrist I hope you are doing great!
