today was the day...cuyler finally left the MTC for mongolia! he has been in the MTC since the 5th of september, and i think he was really ready to go! we went and stood on the hill and waved as his van drove past on their way to the airport. it was literally only a second as they honked and we all screamed and waved...we really didn't even get a good look at him, but nonetheless he saw us and the sign and balloons...etc. later tonight we talked to him on the phone for a bit during his layover in LA...he sounded great... a bit nervous maybe, but very excited to get there.
we miss you uncle cuyler...but can't wait to hear about your adventures in outer mongolia!

How funny how things have changed. We used to spend hours the airport! Now it's a drive and a honk. But hey, it's something!
I hate that you can't see him off at the airport anymore. That was always so great. But I am glad you at least got a glimpse of him!!
